BrushUpIQ is operated by Deeray Multimedia Ltd. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, Deeray Multimedia Ltd is the data controller responsible for personal data processed through BrushUpIQ, unless otherwise stated. References to "we", "us" or "our" mean Deeray Multimedia Ltd.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo.
- Content you upload: documents and the text extracted from them, used to generate your quizzes.
- Quiz data: questions generated for you, your answers, and your scores.
- Technical data: standard server logs (timestamps, errors) used to keep the service running.
How we use it
- To provide and improve the quiz-generation feature.
- To show you your own history, scores, and progress.
- To send essential service emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset).
How we share it
We send the extracted text of your uploaded documents to our AI provider in order to generate questions. We do not sell personal information.
Security and access
Your data is isolated per account via row-level security in the database. Only you can read your documents, questions, attempts, and profile.
Your rights
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Danger zone. For other requests (export, correction), email support@brushupiq.com.
Cookies
We use cookies and local storage strictly to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't run advertising trackers.
